I'm not some expert at AoW3, but have finished all campaigns on normal. It may just not be a game for you, though Endless Legends isn't particularly faster paced, so dunno. I get blocked by the incredible slowness of everything, even if I am playing on easy difficulty Independents on your resources should be cleared asap, vaults can wait for late game, ai empires at least till the early mid game (once you have some stronger spells and better class/national units).Īnd do these strategies also work for later titles like Planetfall and earlier ones like Shadow Magic? That really depends on situation and who you want to attack. Is turtling to wait for more powerful unit production centers a reliable strategy? Or should I be more aggressive and attack even with the starting militias? Keep your heroes alive, as well as pricy high level units, but the don't stress over cheap ones and especially summonable ones, they are ideal cannon fodder.

Should I commit to keeping my troops alive? Or just send them on suicide missions one after another to the point of eventually overwhelming my enemies with wave after wave of soldiers? I usually only build cities where there are at least three strategic resources. Should I spam cities?
